LLM Engineer

About the Role
As an LLM Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize AI-powered solutions using advanced language models such as GPT-4 and LLAMA. You will work closely with data scientists, backend engineers, and product teams to build production-ready generative AI systems that deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and optimize prompt engineering strategies for high-performing AI applications Build and maintain RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines Develop LLM-powered applications using frameworks like LangChain Fine-tune large language models (e.g., GPT-4, LLaMA) for domain-specific use cases Integrate LLMs with external APIs, vector databases, and enterprise systems Implement evaluation frameworks to measure model performance and output quality Optimize inference performance, cost efficiency, and scalability Ensure AI governance, safety, and responsible AI best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI solutions into production

RequiredSkills & Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in AI/ML or NLP-related roles Strong proficiency in Python Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and LLM optimization Experience building RAG pipelines using vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) Working knowledge of LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks Experience fine-tuning models such as GPT-4, LLaMA, or other open-source LLMs Strong understanding of embeddings, transformers, and NLP fundamentals Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
